about
The latest offering from THE DEATHLY ILLS comes in the form of "EKO KUANGO". The name EKO KUANGO doesn't actually mean or refer to anything... until now(?).
The track was made at a time when the ensemble's members were wrestling with the idea that the conscious thought of the human race is actually what is destroying the planet, and the human need to create, express, and entertain in order to avoid boredom is a purely selfish act. It may seem odd that they decided to create a song to express a view against the human need to create, but earth hasn't stopped spinning since doing so, sooooooooooooooo enjoy!
